The experience in honor of the hit Netflix show in Madrid offers a challenge to the fans of the series.
‘The Lab’ is a new space created by the Hawkins Laboratory from the television series Stranger Things on one of the most bustling streets of the Spanish capital — Gran Vía, at number 28 in the Telefónica building.
Once inside, people begin a tour with a photo opportunity, and are later subject to different tests that will make them feel like they are Eleven, putting their most paranormal powers to the test.

After finishing the visit, visitors are invited to upload content to TikTok using the hashtag #StrangerThingsEnMovistar. The best video will win a prize pack themed after the series, which includes Stranger Things merchandise, a television, and popcorn machine.

Access to ‘The Lab’ is free, but limited to a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to this exhibition in Madrid, there is another like it in Valencia. Both will be open until July 31. The experience will then move to Barcelona from Aug. 19 to Sept. 24.
This is one of two experiences the Netflix series has opened in Madrid to coincide with the premiere of its fourth season. The first was a large crack to the ‘Upside Down’ that appeared in the Plaza de Callao, a few meters from the nerve center of Madrid — the Puerta del Sol.
In addition to Madrid, Stranger Things has surprised fans at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Empire State Building in New York, Bondi Beach in Australia, Cathedral Square in Milan, the Gran Malecón in Barranquilla, India Gate in Mumbai, the Kuala Lumpur Communications Tower, the Al-Ula Monumental Complex, the MediaPark district of Cologne, the Xbox Plaza in Los Angeles, the Wawel Castle in Krakow, the Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm, Shoreditch in London, and Tokyo .
“Six months have passed since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. The gang of friends is separated for the first time, and everyone tries to recover despite the problems at school. In this time when they feel so vulnerable, a new and terrifying supernatural threat arises, a mystery that, if solved, would end the horrors of the Upside Down World,” reads the synopsis of the series that has become the most-watched on Netflix. Its fourth season is premiering in two parts, with the first out already on May 27, and the second coming on May 1.
Stranger Things’ first season premiered in 2016 and the series has since won 65 awards and 175 nominations at the Emmys, Golden Globes, Grammys, SAG, DGA, PGA, WGA, BAFTA, among others.
